How It Works
When borrowers have completed the formal closing process of any type of mortgage loan product, Hope Tree Home Loans will donate one-quarter of one percent of the principal amount of the loan to the borrower‚ a choice of charity or other non-profit group or association. A $200 thousand mortgage loan, for example, would result in the borrower‚Äôs charity receiving a donation in the amount of $500. There also is no minimum or maximum limit of potential contribution based on the loan amount. When the mortgage loan is completed, the borrower‚Äôs selection of a charity or other qualified non-profit organization will receive a donation from Hope Tree in the name of the borrower, who also will receive a commemorative acknowledgement from the company. The charity or non-profit organization selected will receive all appropriate funds from Hope Tree Home Loans within two weeks following customary closing of the customer.
